Springtails- (Folsomia candida) 
Springtails feed on mould, fungi, algae, pollen & decaying matter. 
Much of which can become problematic in terrariums. 
Adding springtails makes this a thing of the past. 
Bioactive terrariums not only look like nature, but they act like nature. 
In short, “bioactivity” means that a terrarium/Vivarium mimics nature. Microfibre (including springtails) help create a natural decomposition cycle. This will create a healthier/more natural setup for plants and vivariums.
Springtails can cohabit with other cleanup crew such as Isopods and Earthworms.
